Valewatch is run by four guilds, who keep peace among the citizens of Valewatch, protect them from external threats, and ensure the town keeps running smoothly. All residents of Valewatch are a member of (at least) one guild, based on their abilities, skills, and knowledge.

Created by Ashrynn Halcyon and now run by their (many times) Great granddaughter Isla Halcyon, The Arcane Circle is dedicated to the study and teaching of the magical arts, and providing a safe source of magical energy to draw upon. To members of The Arcane circle, there is no greater blessing to the people than that of magic. Despite their centuries of study and record keeping, the guild are currently having to start over due to an unexpected shift in how magic works.

The former leaders in cutting edge technology, The Cogwright Consortium was founded by legendary inventor Lex Cogwright and is now in the capable hands of Tobi Cogwright. This guild is working towards CREATE-ing a better future with technology. Unfortunately, it does seem that this guild has lost a lot of their records on the workings of various machines, time has yet to see if this will set the guild back, or leave them with room to innovate like never before!

Steadfast adventurers in the face of the dangers of the unknown, this guild has hosted a long line of bold explorers, from their founder Elder Grey all the way through to their current leader, Freya Grey. Traveling through the wilderness, The Horizon Seekers have the role of finding rare resources for the town, and the unofficial job of entertaining via the tales of their adventures. Many members of this guild are currently left stuck within the confines of the town, eager to go exploring again.

The dutiful backbone of Valewatch society, The Stone Vanguard are the protectors of the town. Created by Rewyn Ardrith and now run by the strength and experience of Frank Damascus, The Stone Vanguard are the protectors and peacekeepers of Valewatch. Members of the Vanguard are also experienced weaponsmiths and toolmakers, and in recent years have become the ones to oversee other aspects of Valewatch, such as farming and the town's treasury.
